Thank you for contacting me! I will be in touch shortly. Cheers, Jason
Jason Brice was born in Victoria, BC on April 11, 1972 to George Brice (accountant) and Susan Brice (politician). He graduated from Oak Bay Secondary in 1990 and attended Camosun College and the University of Victoria before moving to Vancouver, BC in 1994.
In 1995 Jason had his first foray into business as a founding partner of a start-up internet service provider called Siwash Communications. In 1999 Jason started an event production company called Events Above & Beyond. This business targeted many of BC's largest high-tech, biotech, accounting and law firms. He persevered from a humble business to the height of success for a period of almost seven years. Jason's company produced some of the most outstanding and lavish events, grand openings and product launches in Vancouver.
By 2005 Jason had learned enough from that industry and he was ready for a change. His passion was discussing the joys and pitfalls of being an entrepreneur, and for years he had been convincing people to get into business for themselves. So it was a natural fit for him to transition to business and franchise brokering. Since 2005 Jason has helped dozens of individuals realize their dream of self-employment. He has represented several well-known franchise companies including GOTJUNK? and World Famous Pizza. And he has been an independent business broker for people wanting to sell their businesses so they can retire or change career paths.
In addition to Jason's professional career, he has been an active member of the community sitting on the board of several non-profit organizations including the Vancouver AIDS Memorial, the RC Seniors Society, and the Turning Point Foundation. He currently spends a great deal of time volunteering. In his early adult life Jason lived for two years in San Jose, California and for one year in Sydney, Australia. In his spare time Jason is an avid hiker and boater in the summer months, and skier and traveler in the winter months.
In 2010 Jason adopted a teenager, Dominic, who lived with him until he was 19 years old and moved out on his own. Dominic remains a close part of the family. Jason currently lives in Yaletown (surviving his partner Brett who passed away in 2016) and his German Shorthair Pointer, Lenny.
